That smell in the air, when you know someone has smoked Dank Herb is Kemuri Taima. She isn't your average Ōkami, she is the one whom never runs out, but is able to resupply, with spiritual powers that conceal her away from prying eyes. She is the one who always has something, and is willing to help whenever she can.
During the Edo period in Japan, Japan once cultivated cannabis for it's fibers, food source, and many other beneficial properties. Mostly grown in provinces or districts of Hiroshima, Tochigi, Shimane, Iwate, and Aidzu. This cannabis was often cultivated in the mountains or valleys, where space was plentiful, the plants would reach as tall as bamboo stalks, some even higher!
A small village in Tochigi was once renowned for growing such strong and beautiful plants. Because of the spirit they worshiped, and gave offerings to, was Kemuri Taima. She blessed the crops to grow big and strong, making the yields plentiful.
Once cannabis became illegal to grow, the fields have died, or have been torched away. Having any of this herb on you could ruin a life, landing them in prison for many years. However, there are groups of people who debate and petition for the right to use cannabis. Kemuri being a spirit has lived and seen a time when Japan had thrived with cannabis, wishes greatly to see that day when Japan can enjoy a nice toke here and there, without fear of being locked away.
With her powers, she puts up a barrier shielding her plants away from people that would cause trouble, or the authorities. Keeping what she has to herself, and shielding herself away from people.
She then decides to take to the internet, her hobbies and interests, while helping the people learn about cannabis flaws and all.
